Here goes nothing.

Well, well, well. Little Johnny's finally gonna give this blogging thing a try. I've been meaning to check in on some friends blogs for ages and finally did today. That got me thinking: hey, I can do this and TADA here is my first blog. I'm already realizing that I'm gonna be horrible at staying current -- journals and letters (similar to posting) have always been a weak point for me. Oh well. Anyway, life is pretty good right now. I'm only working two days a week and taking care of Chantrea the other three (MWF). It's fun but a lot of work. Who knew that taking care of an infant would take more out of you than work? I'm still playing the waiting game as far as the Air Force goes. My fingers are crossed. As I told some of you the other night -- if the AF doesn't work out I may try the Army (they're a lot more desparate and willing to hand out waivers for med. conditions). We'll see. Kristen and I both still have a good feeling about the AF but I'm not going to freak out or lose my testimony if it doesn't.

Kristen's staying busy. She works MWF in the office and T/Th from home (while I go to work). She's been doing this for about three weeks now and it seems like she has to work nights after Trea goes to bed and some on Saturdays as well. She finds it hard to get in eight hours during the day with taking care of the baby. I must say I can't blame her. I try to help out as much as I can but I still feel like I don't do enough.

Hey, we're looking into buying a treadmill. I need to get into shape for basic training (again, assuming I get in) and Kristen's always wanted one and would use it a lot. Even if I don't get in I need to get more in shape. We're excited about that.

Other than that things are pretty much the same as always. Life is pretty good I must say.

PS -- saw Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow the other day. I thought it was so stupid. Did you guys see it? If so, what did you think?
