Sorry

I'm just gonna straight up apologize for being such a slacker. I can't believe that it's been so long. Things have just been so crazy around here. We had a successful yard sale on the 6th. We got rid of a whole lot of our stuff. Although I look around and we still have so much. Knowing we're moving and have like a million things to do in just a few weeks makes it hard for me to concentrate on anything. This past weekend we drove up to Idaho to visit Kristen's uncle and family. We sure know how to pick weekends. Her uncle had stepped on a nail about 10 days prior to our arrival and had a staff infection. We arrived Friday night and his whole calf was bright red. Saturday morning he decided he should go to the hospital (an hour drive away). Turns out they're keeping him until Wed. He's getting medication through an IV. Sunday morning as we (his kids and Kristen and I) are all getting ready for church they have a sewer drainage line back up and the washing machine and downstairs toilet start leaking water all over the place! I think we are the bringers of bad luck. Look out guys (Shawn, Dylan, and Joel) because we're headed your way next. Oh, and to top everything off we got a flat tire on the drive home. Nothing I can't handle but sheesh . . .
Something else that has taken me away from blogging is working on a webiste for my family. It's up now but still kind of sucks (there's not a whole lot there). It will gradually get better though. Part of the problem is that I need help from family members (pictures, etc.) to really get it looking nice so in the mean time it will just have to do. It's mostly geared to my family but if you want to check out "my skills of an [website] artist" feel free to stop on by www.artjefferyfamily.com

Random:
You know at my place of employment there is a store downstairs and throughout the day they are calling courtesy clerks (baggers) to get carts from the parking lot. I was sitting there and thought, there ought to be monkeys to do that kind of thing. I think monkeys should be trained to do manual labor that requires no real thought. I'm sure if anyone from PETA read this I'd get some nasty emails but I know they don't so who cares?

I know I had a lot more to say but I can't think of it now. Sorry this is kind of a crappy post but I say a crappy post is better than no post.
